With MIPS as standard, the high performance, ultra lightweight, low profile and the perfect fitting Sol X establishes the new standard of performance and safety at our entry level price point. It masters all conditions & looks great doing it. ACT multi shell in-mold polycarbonate for strength and safety. The quick release RCS fit system with dial micro adjustment for ultimate fit. Performance polyester fleece lining keeps things warm and dry. The Sol X is audio ready featuring our detachable Covert Ear Covers.

In-Mold Multi-Shell Construction
Advanced Composite Tech – Pret created ACT to make the strongest and lightest weight helmet line. Reinforcing internal polycarbonate plates effectively doubles the shell thickness in critical areas for increased durability and safety. Shell overlap areas interock to create a "halo" region of double shell thickness.
MIPS Equipped – Developed by brain surgeons and scientists to reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. The secret behind MIPS' unique, patented tech comes from the human brain, which is surrounded by a low-friction cushion of cerebrospinal fluid that protects it by allowing it to slide slightly on impact. MIPS imitates this with its own low friction layer between the helmet's outer shell and the liner, which slides to absorb much of the energy created by an angled blow to the head.
Fit
RCS Fit System – Pret developed their exclusive quick release RipCord System (RCS) to create the perfect micro-adjustable, compact and ergonomic fit system. One full turn provides a full 4 cm of micro-adjustment. Simply pull up on the adjustment dial and the exclusive Ripcord feature instantly releases the system.
